Haiya, today damn tired leh.reach home at around1.30 pm. then cook lunch, then go for tuition... come home from tuition, tackle homework mountain.
last sat went for RGS DSA 2nd round de. CAN'T BELIEVE SO MANY PPL GOT ELIMINATED IN IQ ROUND!!! onli me, chucksy(is it the right spelling) and ltm... n the qns okok lah. JUST okok. first task they ask me to read this short leetle passage... then extract a few points frm it... combined with ur general knowledge... then DEBATE with some other ppl... 2nd task easier lah, muz write some stupid comments thingy. about "what are the things you should look out for when u r making a desition(spelling)" i managed to cook up something. JUST MANAGE. then the rest okok lah...
sun rush through zuowen, finish then go tuition... while my parents go select COMPUTER!!! NOT FAIR!!! well, the selected computer is the one i m typing on now. weird weird leh. the cursor keep on moving for nothing... maybe becuz i m accidentally touching the "internal mouse" thingy. that board thing for u to guide the mouse.
haizz. mountain of assessments waiting for me...
oh well. life is can be a bed of roses or thorns, depends on your attitute...

DSA Apitute tests (is it correct?)
Haiyo, so unlucky yesterday.
On thursday i went for RGS DSA. Met Shree there. the questions very easy leh, all IQ one de.
Now for the unlucky bit.
Yesterday I went for Nanyang DSA thingy. The Maths thing damn easy leh, even a B student like me can do all qns with time to check in 1h de. I died and went to hell for english. they want me to finish doing comprehension AND an essay in the period of 1 hr! 300 words some more! I onli wrote 200+... i think i flunked my chinese, believe me. its not entirely my fault, though. they changed a "rewrite" question halfway! and i've already written more then 3 lines in my tiny handwriting liao! then muz rewrite... then the last qns, one 5 mark one and one EIGHTEEN MARK one, muz anyhow cob up something... i'd be EXTREMELY LUCKY to be able to get into 2nd round...
NYGH is evil. now i know how yingjiao feels.

RGS DSA
haizz, today RGS finally gave me a reply. they accepted my entry. so y am i not going "WOO HOO" and jump (slowly lah, since i m a snail =P) around like a half-crazed antelope. ALL BECAUSE it landed on remedial day. REMEDIAL DAY LEH!!!!!! i don't wanna miss the free coaching. but this is not the main reason. i'm gonna miss a lesson on my WEAKEST subject. ppl with a weak subject AND in remedial because of that _________(fill in the blank with the worst words you know) subject would know how i feel. its not, repeat NOT my very good dsa timing and entry. (oops, its my only entry)
Now i know how yingjiao feels about 7/7/7. except mine is 19/4/4.
Did i tell you the time? it is at 2-3 pm i think mum nvr tell me the details. so scared... wonder if the test would be tough?
actually i didn't expect them to accept my entry. my maths results are WAY below the crust of the earth. it was lyk, in the outer core itself (not inner core coz i nvr FAIL it). In other words, it sucks like ****. plus the personal statement. it sucks WAY WORSE then the stupid maths results. it had to be my worst compos yet. even worst then my first one. but hey, it was a first time, i never written personal statements before! and it was about "write about an accomplish ment you have achieved before, other than school grades, and how you went about achieving it" i know its broken english, but its something like that. there was another HARDER question. it was something about writing how you had to uphold moral values in times of trouble. WAY harder than the first one stated here. actually it was the other way round in the question paper =P but i don't care. its was the shortest and WORST compo i've ever written. except the time when tried to do it when i was ... lets see... about p2? chinese some more. completely SCREWED it. only 2 paragraphs.
speaking about compos, do anyone have wind about the results of the zuowen competition? i m dying to know whether anyone got champion in this school or not :) tag on the tagbox if you know anything about the results. last time xu yue and rebecca (i think) went to the competition together. xu yue didnt win anything but rebecca won merit. and her zuowen got published in some magazine/newspapers that i don't remember or even KNOW the name. probably... zao bao?
wad the hell, i finished the book Eragon today. took me only, lets say, about 4-5 hrs? harry potter have less pages but bigger words. this book if you take off my glasses i have to put my nose on the page to decipher the words. its that small. whoa. this post's really long. longer than anything i've posted. its just becuz i have a lot to say. :)
today ms foo's lesson was okok lah... the picture was not that difficult. you know how much slow mo i used? i wrote 1 page and a half before the doors in the train there was even completely closed. i m not exaggerating. i really wrote that much. 2 sides in total. JUST NICE 2 SIDES. its one of my average compos i think, in terms of length. i can write more for chinese. i HATE picture. so limited. only can describe what is in the picture. there is very little room for imagination. a good choice for an unimaginative ppl.
"continuation compo" is different. it allows your thinking to expand and literally CREATE stories out of you head. (quote from ms foo) "situational is a place for you to score".
i recommend the book Eragon. it kept me until 10.30 pm yesterday. my mum yelled herself hoarse at me. yeah right. she has not got a sore throat. her throat was too used to giving me a lecture and yelling at me. in the holidays she lectured/yelled at me practically every day at night because either i did not do enough assignments or i did enough but there was a lot of mistakes. for example maths. i made so many mistakes that you cannot count without drawing breath 4-5 times. 1/2 careless and 1/2 dunno how to do.
the stuff so difficult one lor, especially ratio. i did not know how to do half the problem sums.
that stretched my mum's throat a bit.

not that i like to be shouted at and lectured for 30 mins with this burning desire to juz get out, go into a room, slam the door and lock it. that way i can have quiet.
actually the hols was not all about hard work. i did get to visit the library a few times and played maple a bit :) but very little lah.
i envy thomas. he's practically online EVERY DAY.
beats me how he convinces his parents to let him.
