Shall blog about the concert!!
My court shoes almost killed me >< Whenever I walked the heels popped up! I had to walk bare-footed until it's come to go on stage. I SWEAR I'M NOT GOING TO WEAR THEM UNLESS I HAVE TO. Argh.
I wasn't nervous when I sat there. I only became nervous when I dropped my G diao on its end and it went out of tune :/ Had to tune when everyone was in the hall already!! Eeek. But then can't risk a messed up yin zhun on stage right?:D
When the actual thing came...
SUPER SUPER nervous. At that time looking at mrs ee's face is better than looking at the crowd. And I'm sitting at the side!!! At the extreme left facing audience. I can see the crowd clearly! If pipa isn't blocking me I think I'll die on the spot. Then at the bar 76 part I gan pai-ed. Eeesh. Then bar 86 gao yin can't come out. Then forced myself(took loads of effort!!!) to blow the zhuan D diao part. Then in the recording can hear a sudden increase in volume leh!!! OMG.
Fa sharp was out at the bar 98 part, again. I can't risk turning my dizi or else the whole thing can't come out at all and it might drop. Happened once when I was prac-ing at home.
And gosh, we screwed the part before niao jiao.
And niao jiao came out super loud! At the 7 beat trill there I died - I think I tuo-ed. And I sort of missed the semiquavers later. Gao yin fa was out again, too sharp.
Kuaiban I think I did ok, except for the fact that my yin zhun sounds out, very very out. Probably cos I dropped it earlier )< Luckily the xiao D people and qudi cover:D I skipped the super fast part cos I know I'll gan pai.
At the "one bar later" with erhu and tanbo I got lost!!! Was confused. And man it was super fast.
Gao yin la couldn't come out again!!! )< Luckily xiao D people could cover. Heh.
And then at the bridge to "square M" there I didn't have time to change - resulted in me skipping a huge chunk. I only caught up at the two bars before san lian yin. And I screwed san lian yin, my rhythm was totally out of beat. Weird noises came out too.
M was ok. Found my footing:D
My playing is a disaster D:

The part I think I did best is the bars before the "come in one bar after tanbo and xianyue". I managed an obvious jian qiang!:D
(And there's this woman crying at my block :/ Seriously heart wrenching. Really.)

I DON'T KNOW HOW KENG FANG MANAGED NOT TO BE NERVOUS. FENNIE AND ME WERE SHAKING LIKE CRAZY SO THERE WAS ACTUALLY A NATURAL "ZHEN YIN" -.-
She actually said it was fun?
OMG.
It's fun facing a enormous, numerous, gigantic, humongous(spelling), nerve-racking crowd?
And playing a piece some more.
Which you know you're going to screw up since you screwed up so many times during practises and you know you're going to screw up more during the actual thing.
Omg.
Have to take lessons from her :D

Then we went to watch the concert. Modern and chinese dance was nice! I almost couldn't recognise Yumeng when she puts make-up on.
Then I was trying to do hua she all the way.

Still can't do! I wish I can do it naturally:/

After concert I tried to go and visit FMPS.

And how the teachers used to scold us because we're an impossible class, the type that drives the teacher crazy.
The worst time is that we went and qi-ed cai lao shi until she stormed out of the class.
And then Mrs Quek had to scold us on our last day of school, because only two people in the class remembered to bring rags for spring cleaning.

THIS IS GOING TO BE A BIG BIG LONG LONG RANT TO LET OUT MY FEELINGS FOR THE PAST WEEK.
SUPER STRESSED AND THE STUFF THAT'S MAKING ME STRESSED :
#1 FACTORISATION
I know the concept!!! I can do the questions!!! But then why am I doing math until 10pm++ without rest except eating dinner and bathing EVERY DAY?!?!?!??!?!?!??!?! I'M NOT FAST ENOUGH!! After I come home from cca, exhausted, bad-tempered, I still have to deal with that stupid stupid FACTORISATION. And when I'm tired I do math v.v.v.v. slowly. RESULT = SLEEPING LATE = EXHAUSTED THE NEXT DAY = NOT ABLE TO CONCENTRATE ON LESSON = DYING ON HOMEWORK, AGAIN
A vicious cycle, huh.
I can do faster if I practise!! BUT I HAVE NO TIME!!!!
Let me tell you my schedule for sat and sun:

7.20 wake up
7.50 go school
8.20-12pm dazu
1pm-3.30pm piano!!
3.30pm-6.30pm laoshi's lesson(+travel time)
7pm onwards: HOMEWORK

morning: read TKAM
afternoon: revise homework, complete uncompleted homework, read TKAM, chinese SIA
evening: piano, dizi
Now for my MONDAY schedule:

come back from school: homework, prac math, pre-study

#2 SYF
AUDITIONS ARE SO NOT TIMELY. IT CLASHES WITH HUIBAO, HMP 2ND INSTRU PERFORMANCE(GRADED!!!), AND HANDING UP OF CHINESE SIA. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO LIVE, I DON'T KNOW.
And after every dazu, I come home very dejected. For some reason, stuff I can play well in xiaozu fails in dazu. For example the qi lian yin. I can do it when I'm alone!! But when mrs ee is watching my nerves fail and I die. Lack of practise? NO WAY how can morning prac + lunch prac + ownself prac still called lack of practise?!?! So it's either because of not enough, I'm too lazy, prac-ing method wrong, my nerves are too stretched, or plainly the mrs ee effect. T-T

Coming to that, I think the teachers are trying to kill us students or something. Known SIA due dates are as follows:
Chinese:
6th Feb: 1st fenxi, file cover and qian yan
10th March: 2nd and 3rd fenxi
24 April: Complete everything
HMP:
1)Concert Journal: 2 by start of term 3, 1 by end of term 3
2)Listening Journal: 2 by end of term 2, 2 by end of term 3
3)Music Analysis: 2 by end of term 2
4)Composition/1st instru performance: Term 2/3, comp by end of term 3
Which is quite siao already.
Oh, I forgot, there's still CME.

I feel stress when I look at the list.
With lunches and mornings gone I only can do it after CCA.
I was so busy that I actually had no time to return my library books. Wow. Cos morning got prac, break need to eat, lunch got prac, after school need tune, eat, pai yi zi and grab some extra prac time before it's mrs ee who's coaching you.

I should have read it in the holidays!! Now it's so not worth it wasting your sleep time to chiong finish the novel -.- and there are no short cuts either. Wikipedia never provides an unseen-type analysis in the plot summary, does it?
Ok. But anyway today dazu was damn funny(: Pamela and Phyllis were behaving childishly!! Muahahaha they were imitating mrs ee conducting and swaying in time to the "huan le de" part in chun, pop-song style! LOL.
I actually paparazzi-ed a picture muahahaha but can't post it now(: too late le
Today dazu wasn't that bad. At least I didn't mess up the bar 46 part. And I can finally do the semiquaver part!!:D although my #1 isn't clear, but still(: and yeah my yinzhun is tres horrible T-T
Although it's a bit sian stoning and waiting for mrs ee to finish lian-ing a section):
This time dazu isn't so "dejectful" as last time(: Tmr still got prac! I hope I can do better haha. During the theme part I made some mistakes. But I think Phyllis(blowing xiao C) covered me muahahaha. So I bu zhi yu ruin the whole song.
The parts that I'm most scared of to blow is the solo parts where dizi is the only one playing and all the other instrus fades into accompaniment ><
Esp the "toot toot" part. Somehow I can't do the jian qiang. And I always come in too strongly. It's supposed to be smooth!! Not so abrupt like sudden volcano eruption like that.
OH SHIT I HAVEN'T REARRANGED MY PIANO LESSON YET!! I FORGOT T_T
