TODAY SUCKED
DAZU:
Mrs Ee asked us to yi ge yi ge lai for chan ge and I DIED
HORRIBLY
Mostly because I didn't eat breakfast
And it was MRS EE who stared at me and tested me on chan ge
I was like so nervous I got that salty feeling on my tongue, my stomach was squirming even though there's nothing to spit out.
And then I blew - BAM I came in late.
Blew again - I COULDN'T HOLD UNTIL THE END
EVERYONE ELSE HELD LONGER THAN ME ><
Then Mrs Ee was staring at me and then I was like so scared.
I could sort of tell she's kinda disappointed ><
So dazu sucked.
Chun was like better than chan ge.
BUT MY G DIAO WENT SUDDENLY OUT OF TUNE!!!
The thing just got pushed in...
ARGH.
F DIAO ALSO LAAA
Because it's like so loose ==
I hate my F diao. Luckily Elise returned hers to the mouldy bag so I can take it :D
Then the gao yin la and ti couldn't come out ==
Because the stupid F diao is lou feng de -.-
Mrs Ee skipped the bird part!! ><
(Ok lah, this is more personal but I'm playing that part, solo, temporarly(: )
Then xiaozu
I FOUND OUT I CAN HOLD CHAN GE THAT PART FOR MORE THAN 3 COUNTS -.-
Combined pressure of Mrs Ee and my stomach has driven half of my qi out -.-
I got very very frustrated during xiaozu
Because for 7 for several times IT HIT RIGHT ON THE SPOT
Then I took off the dizi from my mouth and tried again - BANG BACK TO SQUARE 1 -.-
Argh.
And then my G diao became so weird. The first time I tuned it was perfect, then 1 hour later I tuned again and the yin zhun was totally off -.-
WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME ><
Oh and once we played with the recording!!
Suona came over:D
Then li xian came to tell us to be more quiet(we were blasting the recording)
Heh and it's like GUAN YUE GATHERING!!
Except more of the sheng didn't come ):

Wan Ting brought this hu-lu-thingo-on-a-stick-played-like-an-oboe instru.
I found I can hold for 20 sec on there:D
As in, 20 sec of blasting:D:D:D:D
Shuang!! Compared to the horrible chan ge:D
Got back some self esteem:D
Another bad thing that happened is that I LOST MY DI YIN ON THE C DIAO!!
I touched the blowing hole, it was hot, so I blew correctly.
But the yin that came out was very different from laoshi's in terms of yin se
I was like -.-
I can do it perfectly on D diao though, very ironically -.-
I tried playing chang yin on G diao, and found it easier to play on than my stupid lou feng C diao.
And I can hold longer on G diao!!
Ok, maybe I killed a bit of my yin se, but for C diao it's loufeng-ness kills even more of the yin se:D
It's CO break now.
I think I'll miss dazu(:
Well the dazus without Mrs Ee going yi ge yi ge lai((:
I'll miss xiaozu even more regardless of the presence of absence of yin lao((:
I WANT TO GO FOR CO CAMPPPP
:D
But yeah I want to go back to china even more:D
The bad thing about not going to CO camp is that I'll miss my huibao.
Which means I'll have to SOLO when term starts which is EVEN WORSE
100+ pairs of eyes staring at you...

Yoyo I know I've decided to keep my blog dead but I just wanna post!:D
#1 KAOJI
Sucked like hell laa
Went big big rounds around bugis before finding the campus 3.
End up it's such a bu xian yan de building -.- like your average HDB flat so I didn't really pick it out.
Then lian.
There was this cute little girl who was there too. She plays guzheng.
AND OMG GUZHENG SOUNDS SO SUPER NICE ESP THE AN PART!!!
And then she kept asking her bro and her parents to turn back so that she can play in peace:D so cute right.
There was also this guy in the kaoji room. I think he's grade 1, dizi, judging by the song he plays. AND THE WAY HE PLAYED MADE ME SO NERVOUS ==
He was playing in a v.v.v.v. breathless way. BUT his yin se is super scary!
LIKE GRADE 1 LEH.
Then his yin se maybe can match laoshi le ==
Just that his gao yin still have some problem
SCARY.
Then we were notified to BEI our kaoji stuffs!!!!!!!!!!
Like WTH we weren't told to bei until like 9am??? Which is 8 min before kengfang's kaoji and 16 min before fennie's and 24 min before mine!!!
Luckily I play so many times until sian le and can memorise le:D Praced the whole day two days before kaoji. Until like so sian.
THE ACTUAL MOMENT WAS HORRIBLE.
1. THE GUY WAS BUSHUANG THAT I NEVER BEI
2. I WAS VERY NERVOUS, UNTIL I ZOOMED THROUGH LIAN XI QU AT WHAT PRESTISSIMO?!
3. THEN CAI CHA BU DEI I PLAYED A LOT OF WRONG NOTES!! LIKE ZHONG YIN SUDDENLY BECOME DI YIN I ALSO DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED
4. I HAD TO START MO LI HUA TWO TIMES BEFORE I GOT IT RIGHT - AND END UP THE YIN WAS SHAKING COS I WAS TREMBLING ALL OVER.

I played so badly he talk about that.

#2 First lesson with yin lao!
Had it at SCH.
I actually taught SCH was at tiong bahru -.- alighted at the wrong stop, luckily it was only 4pm and I had time to travel to tanjong pagar and wander around for another 15 min before finally finding SCH.
Hey, you can't blame me, there's construction everywhere and I can't really recognise the streets! I took a pic of the map. And then I was trying to find myself on it -.-
End up SCH so near lorh just beside CPF building -.-
Can you believe it, we had lesson in the locker room.
Since the place is filled with rows of lockers with some SCH uniform hanging in front of each locker I think it should be the locker room. Whatever.
Then we did chang yin.
My di yin improved:D
He say my C diao lou feng -.-
I tried his C diao and then I found I actually could blow it.
But thanks to my lou feng C diao it didn't really come out before that.
Hai wo become so dizzy laa.

#3 CCA TODAY
Dazu sucked la. Funnily enough I can keep up with chun but not chan ge.
Mainly because I haven't listened to chan ge before! And the song's like so empty, more rhythmic than melodic so I don't have anything to grasp onto. Not like chun, there are a LOT of distinctive hints that you're going to come in.
I DON'T LIKE CHAN GE.
The yin zhun is even harder than chun la please.
Then need to hold for so long...
Can't stagger today because Mrs Ee asked us to "yi ge yi ge lai"
And I died.
The only thing I like about my playing is my yin se(heh I'm still proud of the achievement on di yin:D). Mrs Ee said my yin se is ok(:
BUT I NEED LIAN CHANG YIN.
WITH TUNER AND URGENTLY.
Or else I might as well go to the graveyard and die before the next dazu.
I LOVE CHUN:D
It's like sooo nice.
And I have melody AND memories to latch onto to give feeling:D
I remember in beijing spring was my favourite season.
Although the winds get big, and the snowman I build in the garden disappears ):
And when you look at a lotus pond the lotuses are usually brown and dead.
Yet you can hear birdcall picking up.
The best thing is that the garden starts to come back to life(:
