Just the bits I didn't blog about in the last post.

When I came to school like ZOMG liwei wasn't in school yet. I thought she had taken the earlier bus with Mo!

Then ji lao shi came in super early larh.

Then after the pledge-taking she explained the fenxi to me.

Before that she was digging around in my pencil case, saw my purple pen(<3!)and was playing around with it. :/

Then she used my purple pen to annotate the fenxi thingo that my whole group couldn't understand the meaning.

French lesson nowadays=falling asleep in class.

Cecilia actually DID fall asleep in class. 5 mins only larh. OMG and it was actually ENOUGH to get her recharged. Don't know how she does it :/ have to learn from her.

Stuff about sleep that I want to learn:

1)How to sleep on the bus
2)How to fall asleep once you touch your pillow
3)How to manage to have dreamless sleeps

Seriously now practically every night had been fitful.

Just YESTERDAY I dreamt something about ji lao shi(well that was the only character I can remember from that dream). That was super freaky. I forgot already. It was totally very 杂乱, like a messed up movie trailer. That was all I can remember.

And those dreams can be totally 要命. One moment I'm dreaming of something funny and I laugh in my sleep. The other moment I'm dreaming about something totally the opposite not sure whether I cry or not larh.

Those dreams can seriously tear you. That's why I've been sleeping early for this week but I feel very very lethargic whenever I wake up.

I wish I can remember what I've dreamed of. It might cast some sense of comfort.

It's damn freaky ok.

And the point is I CAN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING FROM THE DREAM.

Wait.

The movie trailer one I had yesterday.

I think it started out happy or something. I can just remember a classroom and that's it.

Those dreams come the most clearly when I wake up in the middle of the night and then I go to sleep again.

The most freakish dream I had below. Do not read it unless you want to.

I remember the most freakish one I had was when my mum was murdered by some guy. I was watching from my own point of view.

And ohmytian. It was scary. No blood.

No huffing and puffing.

I remember getting her into this lift of a flat that looked very office-ish after she'd been stabbed.

And I remembered meeting this guy in the lobby of that flat. And then we talked and he said a lot of philosophical stuff that was totally unrelated. Something about death I think.

And that guy looked so calm it totally freaks me out.

And then I got her to the dunno how many-th floor.

And then I tried to treat her.

And then she said this very very very freaky sentence, in a voice that was SO hoarse it didn't really sound like hers at all! Like some spirit's speaking through her! And do you know what she said? IN A VERY CALM VOICE SOME MORE.“没有用的。。。*cant rmb this part*。。。还有，损坏了的心。” SO FREAKY.

And then I woke up.

And that was not the most freaky part! You know during the dream I FELT AS IF I'M THE ONE GUIDING THE DREAM!!! I WAS!!! I KNEW I WAS!!! THAT'S WHY IT'S SO FREAKY!!! I'M ACTUALLY GUIDING MY MUM TO DIE OK!!! THAT'S SO DAMN FREAKY!!! AND I ACTUALLY WANTED TO STAY IN THE DREAM BEFORE I OPENED MY EYES TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED!!! IT'S SO NOT NORMAL!!! I'M ACTUALLY GUIDING THE WHOLE THING!! I AM!!! I AM!! WHY AM I SO EVIL!!! I'M NOT NORMAL!!! I DON'T FEEL NORMAL!!!

Haiz.

I seriously hope that I'm wrong and I'm not guiding the dream.

Cause I don't want my mum to die.

After I woke up I went to hug my mum and then there was cold sweat dripping down all over me. The blanket was wet. No tears but I was super scared.

And then we talked over half the night. I didn't tell her that I felt as if I was the one guiding the dream.

Come to think of it, I was guiding the dream. Only at the later part when I felt myself starting to wake up. That part when she said about the heart thingo. I somehow knew that sentence was coming.

What did I do wrong? Dreams are a reflection of fears and hopes.

I seriously hope that dream is not one of my hopes.

Well shi chen was talking about ji lao shi being random etc and very _______.

Once shi chen went to bathe right, then laoshi called. She didn't pick it up(duh she's in her bathroom) then come back got 1 missed call on her phone. Then she smsed laoshi and laoshi said that she didn't call shichen. THEN laoshi called shichen to ask her something. WOW.

And then we're laughing and laughing.

THEN.

JI LAO SHI CALLED SHICHEN.

Like OMG?

说曹操曹操就到.

Except ji lao shi isn't as evil as caocao(maybe she is... *grins*) nor as smart! LOL.

Muahahaha.

Then shichen told laoshi that we were 讲-ing about her.

Then laoshi was like, 在讲我的坏话啊?

Like haemoglobin(YAY I managed to spell it correctly this time!!!:D).

Protein makes up enzymes.

Red blood cells have no nucleus, cos they want to have more space to transport oxygen.

Haemoglobin is the thingo that binds oxygen molecules with it.

Haemoglobin turns brown when it does not have oxygen to bind it with so blood in the veins are always darker that the blood in the arteries.

Enzymes are released by genes that can be switched on and off to turn on and off stuff that specialises the cell.

WHY ARE RED BLOOD CELLS IN THAT SHAPE???

So we just left it with another teacher to put on laoshi's desk.

And we just walked past without da zhao hu-ing to her.

And then shichen told us that she thought laoshi was in the toilet.

But some of the high notes my dizi can't reach so I found out later. T_T.

And I've gone the whole day without practising my instrus except for lunch prac.

Ok lets calculate the time I'll spend practising my instrus.

Piano - 2 hours(MENDELSSOHN AND HAYDN D: PLUS SCALES!)

Dizi - 1 hour, maybe 45 minutes. Lets just make it 1 hour.

3 hours total.

So I'll sleep at around 10.30pm.

Reasonable enough.

So conculsion: Not to watch da chang jin and not to read when you know you haven't got time. And don't on the com until all your written homework is finished.

I just finished my art. And my right arm currently hurts like hell. ALL BECAUSE OF THE LAST FEW BOXES OF THE SHADING THING. :/.

Ok I shall recount today!

First lesson, we had BIO!!!

SO FUN!! MICROSCOPE!!!

I destroyed 2 onion epidemal layers before succeeding on applying the iodine and putting the cover slide onto the specimen. D:. Thanks charmaine for giving me yours!:D

I very ben shou ben jiao one.

But the end result was good! IT WAS DAMN CLEAR LIKE HELL OK.

Considering the last microscope experiment I did(with mr chan during P5(:), this is quite a good thing!

The last time I used the microscope I couldn't see anything except for some squiggly stuff which turned out to be the dust on the stage. I don't think I dyed the cheek cells enough D:

AND I ACTUALLY DREW THAT FOR MY WORKSHEET.

That was stupid.

Ok. Back to the present. I wish I could have taken a photo of those cells(: so cute de. But kinda freaky when you're adjusting adjusting and then suddenly all the cells come into focus. Gave me a shock in fact.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the largest magnification lens to work with my specimen. I just see dots. D:. Nevermind.

Or else maybe I'll be able to see other stuff? Like chloroplast? Not vacuole. I couldn't see it with the 40 magnification lens. And it's even larger than the nucleus in a plant cell, well, supposedly.

Then Ms Lye was bouncing around the lab(: she was checking the view of the specimen in people's microscopes(that's the best way I can phrase it, I suck at LA). She kept on saying "SUI!" whenever she sees a really good one. Charmaine's one was like ZOMG SO PRO. So bigggggggg!!! Mrs Lye say can use for picture reference during exam le. @_@. Can be teacher's personal maker of the pictures of microscopic stuff LOL. Charmaine if you are reading this, DO NOT KILL ME I'm just kidding!:D

So we did the worksheet etc.

Then it was LA.

We were late for LA again and then Mr Kaw was standing outside the classroom to ying jie us. LOL.

LA class was damn funny sia. Mr Kaw talked about his "non-existent holiday".

Based on what he said(might not be correct arh):

"Well my holiday started off with the parent and teacher meeting. So I spent half the day dishing out report books and consoling your very traumatised parents. Some of your parents actually came over to catch me. *Blah blah blah about parents saying daughter standard dropped etc*. So I showed them the average mark and they kind of got it. So that's the very sad starting of my holiday."

*The next part is really really funny*

"Then I got dragged off to Korea. Some of you here *surveys us* are fan of Korean dramas right? Well and the Nanyang girls are crazy over Korean drama. And you should know, when 8 fans of Korean drama goes to Korea the homeland of Korean drama, the result equals to me dying. Well, when we're on the bus, we passed by this village place, and then they were going, 'OH THIS IS WHERE THEY FILMED 大长今!' and then the tour guide said 'you all know?' and then the girl was 'OH YES' and then scene re-enacting. *Same thing for another place where they filmed 咖啡王子* "

*Laughter ringing through the class*

"There was another female teacher from Nanyang whom I won't name with us, and she also happens to be a big fan of Korean drama. We were walking along this crowded subway tunnel during rush hour, and we saw a poster of this Korean actor whom I don't know the name, and then I had to take picture for the female teacher whom I won't name with the poster for EIGHT TIMES. Well, Korean-drama-crazy nanyang girls plus another Korean-drama crazy teacher in Korea, you would have guessed how I felt. I was totally exhausted to the limit."

"And then I went to *another place, cant rmb this whole chunk*...*blah blah blah*"

"When I came back to Singapore, it's time for Staff meeting. I had to think up of ways to comment on 109's performance during Language Arts class. blah blah blah..."

Then it's lesson and we were comparing Mildred D. Taylor and Ken Saro-Wiwa.

Boring. I was reading the short story "Full-stop" throughout the lesson. Hehheh.

Well next was PE.

The teacher was like damn fierce.

3 people got reprimanded during PE. I count myself within that number.

Shi Chen got a lecture because she couldn't take PE because she had stomachaches. Poor thing. THEN SHE KENNA LECTURE LEH. -.-"

Then for me. It's also super unfair kay. She was talking talking there and I couldn't catch a word of what she's saying. She was so soft larh! And I was right at the back but unfortunately in the full view of her. Wth. Then I looked away for like two seconds. THEN SHE GO LECTURE ME. About eye-contact and stuff. TWO SECONDS. -.-"

Then. Jincheng kenna because she looked sleepy(that's how she ALMOST ALWAYS look btw). She was like talking to her after lesson etc etc etc.

Ji lao shi's being very redundant about changing groups. Well it went like this. When she said she wanted us to tao lun and present, Ashley was like, Shi jia Shi jia Shi jia. Then she was like "诗佳什么？还没开始讨论你就开始诗佳了" Then she changed groups.

Urgh. NY's coms are so lag. This PARTICULAR window has lagged for like 4-5 time alr each spanning from 1minute to 5 minutes. diao. Getting super pissed with the typing also!!! WHENEVER I TYPE IT LAGS AND LAGS AND LAGS. fed up.

Actually I'm blogging in school! IN MY MATH CLASS SOME MORE. Ms Teng not here mah... then she asked us to do this super easy Heymath! assignment. Eh I'm not the only one slacking horh! The WHOLE CLASS is either watching video, photoshopping or blog hopping or blogging. :D

Had Ms Yip back for Geog today. Suddenly she bian lian until nice nice like that. Diao. Not saying that she isn't nice before, but...

And ZOMG. HMP EoY we have to like play TWO CONTRASTING PIECES. Gawd. Wonder if Mrs Ho minds if I play just the prelude for Bach's Prelude and Fugue in D minor? I haven't learnt the fugue yet! And in grade 8 people expect you to play the prelude AND the fugue. I'm dead. I just got the exam pieces scores like LAST WEEK ok. Obviously cant gan out in a few months. Je suis morte :{.

I love score-reading. Although I always get lost in the score part. And WOW your eyes really have to move damn fastin order to gen shang the music. D:. In all the practises I got lost @_@.

Yupps. LA was quite funny as usual. Ashley had to stand on the sushi bar because Mr Kaw suggested it. LOL.

First day of school(:

I didn't get a good night's sleep last night. I woke up 3 times.

So you can guess, I'm pretty lethargic today.

The day started out... with me and Shi Chen chionging the geog assignment. Lol. So we were scribbling at the benches near home econs room until the music started.

First lesson was the first-ever speech training. My yu yin not biao zhun one!!!! D: Have to lian at home. T_T

Well we had homework. Not much at least, just one tongue twister. Quite easy to say... if you want to say it in the correct pronounciation it's a bit harder. LOL. Like obvious. Nevermind! Since I'm talking to myself LOL.

Then was BIO. Ms Lye rocks! Well the only thing was that during LSC she made us clean two toilets but who cares. LOL. She rocks! Maybe it's too early to xia jie lun. LOL. But she's really energetic and all. She talks super quickly. REALLY quickly. Like your average bullet train. Haha. And then she was asking us why were we so quiet. We're taking notes!!! She's talking so fast we have to write fast right? That's why no one's talking. But maybe everyone's just too shocked at how she teachers. Seriously she SUPER SUPER energetic.

Now about the subject itself. It's quite easy. At least the topic on cells is. Like everything I've already learnt in primary school. THANK YOU MR CHAN!!!:D lol. The only thing is that you have to draw... and I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO ARTISTIC TALENT.

Ok. Then lunch chiong geog again. Finished it, and then me and Shi Chen chiong down to eat what jincheng bought for us:D and I gobbled it up within like, 5-10 minutes? LOL. That's already chao1 fast for me! Heh heh.

Then was culture lesson. The teacher was nice(: so many breaks. But the thing is I CAN'T HEAR WHATEVER SHE'S TEACHING. She speaks so softly. -.-" I wonder if she's got a sore throat. SO SOFT. And no visual guidance some more(I didn't bring my notes... hohoho...). -.-" She finished the stuff she's going to teach today in like half an hour. So the rest of the time she play with us. We played jie long!<333 Cheng yu some more. More challenging!:D I thought up of 1 of the cheng yu(bu yao yi si... haha lol.)!:D

Then was CME. Ji lao shi. Instead of ye lao shi. She says her lessons are quite slack. Today she just clarified admin matters with us... and teached chinese. We got back that ying yong wen we did. AND MINE WAS A DISASTER. I LI TI OK D:. I got like, 10/20??? Like ZOMG. Luckily my yu wen quite good or else I would have failed. And HOORAY FOR JI LAO SHI we're going to do another one tmr! And she'll take the better done of the two!!!! THREE CHEERS FOR JI LAO SHI:D

And there's this major mix up of the CME SAIL. Ye lao shi thought we're going to cheng xian OR game when we're supposed to do GAME ONLY. And then present. So our group get pian yi -.-

Still going on with the presentation, dun worry. We've put a lot into this haha, so don't say we didn't do as much as you all. WE'RE DOING PUPPET SHOW and the puppets are all HOME MADE. So don't say we didn't do as much!LOL.

Yesteryesterday

Xiaozu! In the afternoon. At least I didn't feel hungry!

At first me and fennie went to find Mr Teo for her chinese file. And we found him in the office eating bee hoon. Didn't dare disrupt. Fennie say later he open the window while still chewing and then mumble mumble mumble. SO FUNNY~~~

Then laoshi come, xiaozu start.

Quite slack de larh. Laoshi gave us like, what, ELEVEN breaks ok! And then, once when laoshi was AWOL the erhu teacher(dunno his name, I just know that his surname is Zhang) came in and say what "吹得不错啊". Then he asked us whether we are sec 1 or not. Then he went away. Like -.^? And then some teachers were having conference. We were like shouting for them LOL. That time laoshi was away also! Lets see. We waved for Mr Chia, chen lao shi and (me only) ji lao shi. All reply except ji lao shi. So bad de. LOL. Haha! Talk about deaf.

LOL.

Then laoshi quite freaky leh. I was looking at the zuowens pasted in the 107 classrooms, with my back to where laoshi was sitting. Well he was gone at that time. Then I turned around - HE'S SITTING IN HIS CHAIR. Freaky. Or maybe I'm too chi dun. Nvm.

Then Fennie's chinese teacher Mr Alex Teo was being super funny. Fennie said that the first time she smsed him she typed chinese painstakingly but then he replied in english. Waste her time lol. Then today she needs to take her chinese file right, but it isn't in his pigeon hole. So she sms him again. He never reply right. Then she was like, LAOSHI!!! Where is my chinese file???? in the next sms. And then we were like going up and down looking for Mr Teo. Then he replied. Guess what he said?

"With me in my office loh."

LOH.

LOL!

Like where got teacher use singlish one. So cheapskate. LOL.

And the lian xi qu's are nice:D I can play le! The first one. But some of the low and high notes can't come out. T_T. And the very staccato-ish one is hard. My tongue very suan leh. And my cheeks also. Man I need to brush up on my chang yin. It sucks -.- I can't even reach 4 pais. -.-

Eh but I didn't really eat lunch then. LOL.

I saw something funny while taking 74 to NY. My bus passes by SIM University. Outside the campus I saw this guy smoking. Probably from SIM because he's kinda teenage looking and stuff and like, you can tell right, by inference LOL. So yeah, he was smoking, and then I turned and looked outside the window(I'm sitting on the upper deck), guess what I saw?

A white banner with BLACK WORDS, bolded and in BLOCK LETTERS, ultra big font size, stating, "A SMOKE FREE CAMPUS".

Wow.

I was laughing like hell ok.

First is prelude and fugue in D by mendelssohn. It wasn't as nice I thought. I was put off by it after my piano teacher played it, and I listened to the recording first. Can't blame him larh, he SIGHT-READ THE WHOLE THING OK.

Then it's Allegro by Haydn. Why did I choose it in the first place. It's nice. But it's SO DAMN FAST.

My piano teacher says that Haydn originally played violin, then violin is very easy to manuover, and then the running notes etc all damn fast. Listened to the recording. I bet this is going to torture my already half-dead fingers. Nevermind.

And my thumb's recently got another cut. It bled for 15 minutes before the flow stopped completely. Bleh. Don't worry I'm not dead yet, you can continue waiting/preparing. Gawd.

I've set up a torture chamber for myself.

Since I've just finished my music analysis, I shall 奖励 myself to post.

Mrs Ho said 1 page for music analysis, and to elaborate more on key and form. I ended up with 1 page and 2 lines, and one whole chunk on form and modulation, and 2 lines on key. -.-"

There's just nothing to say about the key, except it's in D major? Unless you want me to go on and on about cadences. Wow.

I think I'll get very low marks for that. I crapped.

Yesh I was crapping like hell for the whole thing. Esp modulations, I was going into a LOT of detail. This is exactly what I wrote for modulations:

"The piece starts with the tonic key, and modulates into its dominant (A major) by the end of the first appearance of the theme (the first two pages), and then modulates to the dominant minor (E minor), then modulates, its process smoothened by the chords from bar 55 to bar 57, into G major as part of the theme repeats itself (bar 58 to bar 65), followed by a bridge (bar 66 to bar 72) that performs a series of modulations until it finally arrives at D major, the dominant of G major. Then the theme of the piece is repeated in A major (the dominant of D major), and then modulates back to D major, and in which the piece ends."

Chim chim de, I bet Mrs Ho read le she'll fall asleep one.

Ok. I went into a LOT of detail as you can see. I don't know whether modulation into the dominant minor is allowed or not in the piece, I just wrote it down. Too lazy to check haha. And I don't know whether modulating from minor into its relative major is allowed or not. I went to read up on modulations in wikipedia, and ended up super confused. Gawd, theirs is super detailed. A lot of music teminology that I don't understand D:

I think I'm starting to lose interest in piano. Really. Who am I practising for, I don't know. Ok, maybe myself. But it always comes out so lousy. And my piano teacher's expectations are damn high. He actually expects me to play the whole piece WITHOUT NOTE MISTAKES when I've only learnt the piece for 1 week. Wth. I'm not such a good piano player. You know what he said?
