It's seriously so sad that 2008 is passing away so fast. Just sleep on the last night on 2008 and whee! you're suddenly catapulted into 2009.

I wish I can revisit 2008 again, maybe in a time machine. I can perhaps replay aprils' fool again and again, and maybe land suddenly in the class chalet I missed. 2008 has been such an in-between year. Maybe that's why it's so special.

In 2008, I:

-Emoed a LOT over sichuan earthquake
-Been angry at CNN
-Rejoyced at the olympics

-Started sec school life!
-Met a lot of new nice nice friends(:
-Found that I liked Nanyang
-Been thrown into a very very alive class (109!!!<333333333)
-Learnt dizi(:

Academically:

-Let an A1 for math slip out of my grasp because of a failed eoy
-Did well for first block test
-Failed history for 2nd block test
-Chinese improved steadily throughout the year (but I STILL haven't managed to get 90... sobs)
-Realised that I'm actually good at science

-Slacked way too much

Hmm. I want to review all the 2008 posts before the new year starts, but I've just got enough time to post my resolutions. Well here goes:

1. Not slack so much
2. MUST GET MY HEAD AROUND FACTORISATION
3. Not let my subjects deprove
4. Improve my dizi and piano
5. Prac more for dizi and piano
6. Improve all subjects! ESP FRENCH(if i'm not quitting)
7. Get into SYF!!!

7 is just nice for a week(:

LETS START COUNTING DOWN(:

Heyo:D

Belated I know (1 day lah, heh), but I'm back in SG.

Shall blog about china trip the next time:D

Ok, all the smileys are seriously the OPPOSITE of how I feel now -.-

Christmas is coming but I'm totally not in the mood. Because of...

CHUN.

For some reason, everytime when I come into the dazu room my G diao MYSTERIOUSLY goes out of tune.

And when mrs ee tunes me my yin zhun goes off even more.

Today when I tune outside my yin zhun is like all green -.-

I came especially early to tune and practise!!!! Then when I go into dazu everything goes out of the window -.-

Oh, not appearing for CO camp isn't making things better.

My batchmates are seriously loads better than me now. I can't even play the EASIEST part of chun which is the beginning. I would suddenly go 1 octave lower and have to force some of the notes out.

Oh yeah, and in china, my dimo died and I didn't bring extra -.- so could only use scotch tape. There's still a difference between dimo and scotch tape leh so obviously xiaozu and dazu today I died horribly.

And in china, my dizi contracted.

As in, it suddenly became super high. Probably because it's cold there -.-

Gah.

Oh, and I find it easier to blow when I'm standing up(:

When I sit down my qi goes haywire. Even the easiest easiest zhong yin dies a horrible death.

Quote kengfang: "We might as well go and kneel in front of mrs ee's office for two days and beg her not to audition us for SYF"

><

For all I know I suck lah.

Eeeesh. Why must yin lao come on SUNDAY?!?!?!?!?!?! I was looking forward to a lesson with him -.-

At least my yin se won't die so much. Oh and metioning yin se, my gao yin suddenly improved a lot:D I think it's the dimo. The dimo we bought at bras basah are so much better than yin lao's.

Speaking about chun.

The rhythm is easy but the notes are HARD HARD HARD HARD HARD HARD.

Esp the fast fast part at the "huan le de" part.

Last xiaozu I attended I COULD play that part!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But so far during dazu it's -SILENCE- except for the seniors:D

At least they can cover up for us haha(:

Oh and today's dazu was super funny.

We kept on sticking stuff on each other's backs and heads. Victoria kenna the most haha and the evil evil sec 3 bangdi people and kengfang are the culprits:D

Oh and phyllis sat on a scotch tape booby trap we set. Pity the scotch tape is too lao3 le, didn't stick ><

Or else... MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

(phyllis are you reading this? AHAHAHAHA)

The whole section is evilllleeee:D

Oh and during xiaozu break the whole section except the sec ones (muahahaha we didn't go for break:D) came back late. And they had to do a forfeit as phyllis said it: "Latest by 4.05, people who are late blow all the lian xi qu once"

I bet she said that mostly to deterr the sec ones as we suck at lian xi qu. We barely practised:D

End up the seniors kenna HAHA

I'm sadistic!

Too bad they didn't perform huibao style lol I was planning to record so that I can prac :/

Chun is so long that we couldn't finish prac-ing it during xiaozu. We only did 1 1/2 pages -.- and the yin zhun is seriously not perfect.

God. At this rate we're gonna die horribly.

Luckily monday's prac is qudi and bangdi seperate and YIN LAO IS COMING!! YAY:D

Aish. Still got uncompleted holiday homework. All chinese de (not really complaining haha).

But the only thing I feel like doing now is to A: Type finish this post and B: LIAN LIKE HELL in order to not die when yin lao comes/next dazu/SYF auditions/New year performance (if I'm ever calm enough to not get a panic attack on stage?)/SYF if I even have the slimmest chance of going -.-

Rrrright.

Whoa 10pm le. Gtg byebye!:D
