Loads of stuff wasn't in the script and loads of stuff wasn't done.
There's meant to be a super funny convo with the shu ji and sun zhong shan.
Then the board was blocking our voices.
Then we haven't rehearsed, so it was quite messy. And there's only ONE script.
And then no one to control the powerpoint.

Just got the piece on thursday during xiaozu and then must "showcase" to whole orchestra on friday.

Managed it though... I think...
Can la can la.
Well it didn't start out that well. I kept on getting stuck cos I wasn't thin enough to squeeze through music stands and bags and chairs and people etc.
And I didn't bring my water bottle.
So I was thirsty throughout xiaozu.
:/
And the school water got
鱼腥味. Yuck.
Ok.
I was pretty nervous during start of dazu(hey it's your first time playing with an orchestra man!xD). Can feel my heart pounding away :/
Then somehow when they played for the second time I started relaxing. xD
Dunno why. Probably cos the song was nice and I'm not the only one who couldn't play xD

Second part was a bit better.
Turns out that the first part was solo xD

First few rounds I was just stoning.
Then some rounds later I found out that...
I COULD PLAY!!!
Okok.
Then after that I was like, "OHMYGOSH I CAN PLAY OHMYGOSH I CAN PLAY OHMYGOSH I CAN PLAY etc etc"
Bet phyllis was very fan2-ed by me xD
The problem was that I kept losing count of the bars until I got the hang of it. Then I just listened for my part and didn't bother counting(ok I did just for reassurance xD) Then me phyllis kengfang were like, "6. 2. 3. 4." with finger movements and stuff xD
So fun.
The bad thing was that I missed the SAME place for like, 5-10 times in a row??
:/
Horrible.
Kept on getting lost during that part :/
And turns out that dynamics on dizi is pretty easy haha
The hard part is getting out the note esp gao yin.
:D
Then I play like someone who had asthma.
Breathe in and breath out hard.
Cos my qi4 not enough D:
And the tuku part not all the notes came out with their correct pitches :/
And MAN the bangdi's super loud.

Then limqing suggested queenie(student conductor) to not let seniors play.
Then the dizi sec 1s were like, "OMG" cos we though it meant that only sec 1s play :/
Which is super scary.
Esp dizi is LOUD.
Turns out that it's only the sec 4s don't play.

Phyllis was like, "Then sec 3s don't play, then sec 2s don't play, then only left sec 1s play" with an evil grin. PHYLLIS! BU YAO XIA WO MEN!!! xD
